OBJECTIVE
The students will be able to:

1. Define terms associated with community-oriented policing (COP).
   
2. Compare and contrast traditional law enforcement methods with COP.
   
3. Analyze the similarities and differences between COP strategies and problem-oriented policing (POP) strategies.
   
4. Assess what police departments must do to be effective in COP.
   
5. Create methods to address crime in the community.
   
6. Evaluate the effectiveness of COP and POP ideas presented by peers.
